The West Ada School District, often referred to as Joint School District No. 2, is the largest school district in Idaho. It includes the communities of Meridian, Eagle, Star and portions of West Boise, Southwest Boise, Garden City and Kuna. More than 36,140 students attend the
SCHOOL HOURS
The length of the school day varies depending upon the grade level and building. Approximate starting and ending times are:

School will be released two hours early on this day.
TRANSPORTATION
Cascade Student Transportation provides bus transportation for students who reside 1.5 miles or more from their school. Where walking is deemed hazardous, safety busing may be approved by the Board of Trustees and State Department of Education. Phone: 229-8500
SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM
Lunch is served daily at each school. Lunch prices vary according to grade levels. For those who apply and qualify, free and reduced lunches are available. The School Nutrition Office can be reached at 855-4575.
